Sarah Grier, D.V.M.

Veterinarian

Dr. Sarah Grier was born and raised in Iowa and always knew she wanted to be a veterinarian.  She received her DVM degree from Colorado State University in 1998, and afterward completed a small animal medicine and surgery internship at Ontario Veterinary College.  After working as an emergency veterinarian in San Francisco for 16 years, she is happy to have moved back home with her family to Colorado.

Since returning in 2016, Dr. Grier has been working as a relief veterinarian at small animal and emergency hospitals in the Front Range, and is very happy to have found her new home at Indian Peaks Veterinary Hospital.  Dr. Grier enjoys all aspects of veterinary practice including medicine, surgery, pain management, and (of course) emergency and critical care.  Outside of work, she and her husband Brent are busy raising two kids and their many animals, including two cats, a dog, and 5 ducks.  With any time left over, she enjoys spending time with friends, hiking, running, and enjoying a glass of wine.
