Meet Lucinda (a.k.a Goosey)!  Lucinda has a very special story.  She came to Colorado after hurricane Katrina destroyed New Orleans.  Like many other animals who were sent to Colorado for care and adoption, she had a terrible case of heartworms in which she underwent several months of vigorous treatment for.  Now she is all better and has been living with us ever since.  Lucinda is a quirky girl!  She loves to chew on rawhides, her extra large kong, and an oversized tennis ball!!  However, I think she is happiest when someone is petting her.
