How does boarding at Indian Peaks work?
-Please call ahead to make a reservation for your pet’s stay. Keep in mind that reservations go quickly for holidays. Please plan ahead. Also, if you have never boarded with us before, please plan on spending some time with our receptionist so we can get all of your information.
-We require current vaccines on all animals. We do make exceptions for pets with medical conditions. Please call and discuss this with our staff.
Cats need to have current rabies and distemper vaccines.
Dogs need to have current rabies, distemper, and bordetella (kennel cough) vaccines.
**We cannot admit animals who do not have updated vaccinations. This is for your pet’s safety as well as for the safety of other clients’ pets.**
Medical Boarding
- We are able to board pets recovering from surgery or who are in need of medical care (for example- diabetic patients). However, we are not a 24 hour facility, so any pet needing extensive medical care should seek different boarding arrangements. We entrust the care of all of our medical boarders to our veterinary technicians and veterinarians (when applicable). Because these pets require a different level of care, there is an extra $10/day fee in addition to the per night charge. If you think your pet may require medical boarding, please give us call and inquire.
What should I bring for my pet?
You many bring your pet’s own food, toys, and treats. We provide bedding, bowls, leashes and collars. If you do not wish to bring your pet’s own food we feed Iams Intestinal Low Residue dog food for our canine friends and Iams Original cat food for our feline friends.
